A truck driver in Ohio has pleaded guilty to continuing to work while collecting more than $141,500 in workers' compensation benefits.
It was the second conviction in a decade for Jeffrey Janson, the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation said in a bulletin posted Friday.
“Most people learn a lesson after a conviction for workers’ compensation fraud,” said BWC CEO Stephanie McCloud. “Obviously that’s not the case with Mr. Janson, who tempted fate again and was caught a second time by our investigators.”
