Guaranty Association Targeted in a Bogus Check Scam

The Florida Insurance Guaranty Association is the target of a counterfeit check scheme linked to the Internet site Craigslist.org.FIGA said the checks are light blue, reference Wachovia Bank and generally have been issued for between $1,500 and $3,000.
