The chairman of the state Workers’ Compensation Commission hadn’t responded as of Tuesday to a July 2 letter asking him to investigate firms that are suspected of illegally marketing and providing loans to workers’ compensation claimants in Illinois.
The letter to the WCC’s Michael Latz was written by Lisa A. Rickard, president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Legal Reform.
