A plan to allow “mental-mental” stress claims by first responders has died in the West Virginia Senate.
House Bill 2321, sponsored by Del. Chad Lovejoy, D-Cabell, passed the House in February and the Senate Health and Human Resources Committee early last week. But when it was sent to the Senate Finance Committee, it failed to pass before the session ended late Saturday night, according to a local news report.
