Employer Suits for AIG Underreporting Get Consolidated in Chicago

The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation on Monday ordered that the four pending lawsuits against insurance giant AIG for allegedly underreporting workers' compensation premiums be consolidated in a federal trial court in Illinois.AIG, which does business in 130 countries, reported bringing in $67.5 billion in revenue in 2012.However, the carrier has recently been plagued by several lawsuits.
