The California Farm Bureau Federation is asking its members to reach out to lawmakers and Gov. Gavin Newsom to try to prevent the creation of a conclusive presumption that COVID-19 is a compensable condition for all essential workers.
Bryan Little, COO of the Farm Bureau, said on Wednesday that he has heard since Friday that the governor is considering an executive order that would create a COVID-19 presumption that applies to anyone deemed an essential worker during the statewide stay-at-home order.
