A Tulsa County woman who claimed that her weight gain and enlarged thyroid resulted from being exposed to radiation while assisting in a medical procedure was charged with fraud last Thursday by Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt.
Rixa Jeaton Miller, a medical assistant at Rehabilitation Physicians of Oklahoma, faces up to seven years in prison and $10,000 in fines for fraudulently misreporting information in order to get workers’ compensation benefits.
