MTA Board Approves $500,000 in Death Benefits for Transit Workers Killed by Virus

The New York Metropolitan Transit Authority Board voted unanimously Wednesday morning to provide an unprecedented $500,000 in death benefits to families of transit workers killed by the COVID-19 respiratory disease.
