The Tennessee Supreme Court last week adopted the decision of the Special Workers' Compensation Appeals Panel that a hospital worker injured in a car crash while driving home from the hospital during an "on-call" shift was within the course and scope of her employment at the time of her accident. The panel decided this issue of first impression in Shannon v.
