DWC Proposes Updating Hip and Groin Treatment Guides

The California Division of Workers’ Compensation is proposing to update a chapter of the Medical Treatment Utilization Schedule outlining recommendations for hip and group injuries. The DWC on Wednesday proposed an evidence-based update to the MTUS to adopt the latest Hip and Groin Disorders Guideline published by the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine in April. The MTUS currently includes the hip and groin recommendations published in 2011.
