A manufacturer in Tarentum, Pennsylvania has been cited for safety violations for the fourth time in two years and is facing proposed penalties of $40,600 for the latest violations from the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
RESCO Products Inc., doing business as Worldwide Refractories, was cited by OSHA on Dec. 18 for one repeat, 13 serious and two other-than-serious violations. The company, headquartered in Pittsburgh, makes dolomitic bricks and specialty refractory products used to line ladles in the steel industry.
