Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton is seeking applicants for a position on the Commission on Judicial Selection in the 8th Judicial District.The position must be held by a non-attorney, the governor's office said. The 49-member commission reviews applications and makes recommendations for vacancies in the district court, the Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals, and at the governor’s request, appellate courts.District members consider vacancies within the judicial district for which they occur.
