The California State Compensation Insurance Fund rejected a “coercive trade” proposed by attorneys for Michael R. Drobot Jr., who said they'd agree to give the carrier an additional six months to amend its civil racketeering complaint if the carrier agreed to a six-month stay.State Fund asked the U.S. Court for Central California to extend a deadline to amend its complaint against Drobot and his father so it can name additional defendants identified through discovery. Attorneys for Drobot Jr. said federal prosecutors are investigating their client and requested a six-month stay...
