Flooring Business Owners Charged in Alleged $3.84 Million Fraud Scheme

The California Department of Insurance announced the owners of a Sacramento flooring company were charged with felony workers’ compensation fraud for allegedly underreporting payroll and employees by more than $30 million to reduce premiums paid to three carriers by a combined $3.84 million.
