A bill that would allow Montana workers to choose a physician to treat occupational injuries is likely dead, according to a notice on the Legislature’s website.
Another measure proposing to impose a tax on fireworks to provide work comp coverage for volunteer firefighters also looks to be out of consideration for the rest of the 2019 session.
Both bills were still in committee Saturday, the deadline to pass bills out of the house of origin.
