Bill for Worker Choice of Physician Likely Dead

A bill that would allow Montana workers to choose a physician to treat occupational injuries is likely dead, according to a notice on the Legislature’s website. Another measure proposing to impose a tax on fireworks to provide work comp coverage for volunteer firefighters also looks to be out of consideration for the rest of the 2019 session.
