BWC Proposes 5 New Rules, Asks to Rescind 1 Old Rule

The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation will hold a public hearing on Feb. 16 on implementing five new rules and retracting one old rule. A public notice issued Tuesday announced the proposed rule changes. The new rules are as follows:  4123-19-05 and 4123-17-15.5: Stipulate what self-insured employers and professional employer organizations need to do when they wish to become covered by the state insurance fund.
