WCS Posts Advisory Bulletin on COLA Changes

Nevada’s Workers’ Compensation Section issued an advisory bulletin explaining the impact of two bills enacted this year to increase permanent total disability benefits and death benefits. The WCS said insurers and third-party administrators should be familiar with the language in Senate Bill 377 and Assembly Bill 370, and verify the accuracy of benefit rates before January 2020 to avoid any incorrect payments.
