Kirk Appointed to SCF Board

State-controlled carrier SCF Arizona announced that Gov. Jan Brewer appointed Ken Kirk to replace Brett Jones on the company's board of directors.Kirk started his term in February at the SCF Arizona board meeting. He started his career as an audit manager with Arthur Andersen, before moving to Crescent Hotel Group where he served as chief financial officer. He then took the position of chief executive officer with Insurance West in Scottsdale. When Insurance West was acquired by Brown & Brown Insurance in 1995, Kirk served as regional president.
