Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. has appointed Hamid Mirza as its president and chief operating officer for global retail markets, the company announced in a news release.
Mirza, who’s been with Liberty Mutual since 2009, will assume his new role Aug. 2, the company said.
The company said Mirza is expected to help drive profitability, sustain growth and continue to offer personal line insurance solutions to customers and small businesses.
Mirza is expected to report to Liberty Mutual’s Global Retail Markets president, Jim MacPhee.
