The New York Workers' Compensation Board has adopted changes to reflect the state's expanded provider law and to allow payers to designate a mailing address for medical reports and bills.
The Legislature in the last year has expanded the list of providers who are authorized to be reimbursed for treating injured workers, including acupuncturists, massage therapists, social workers, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and physical therapists.
