Guam Legislature Approves Two-Year Phase-In for 340% Benefit Increase

The Guam Legislature on Tuesday approved a bill that would increase weekly indemnity benefits some 340% by October 2021. At the same time, lawmakers passed a second measure that would require the Pacific island territory's Workers’ Compensation Commission to allow civil penalties for employers that violate any workers’ compensation law.
