Hub International, an insurance brokerage, has purchased a Davenport, Iowa-based multi-line broker.
Ruhl & Ruhl Insurance will become the latest company folded into Hub, according to a Tuesday press release. It will join Hub's midwest division.
Ruhl & Ruhl has operated since 1862 and serves eastern Iowa and western Illinois. It offers workers' compensation coverage as well as other property and casualty, business and personal lines.
Hub has picked up more than 350 brokerages through its mergers and acquisitions activities since 1998, according to its website.
