Chaney Names Deputy Commissioner

Mississippi Insurance Commissioner Mike Chaney has picked Mark Haire, general counsel of the Mississippi Insurance Department (MID), to become deputy commissioner.Haire joined MID as a staff attorney in 1987 but left to serve as staff counsel for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi from 1992 through 1997. He returned to MID in 1997 and was chosen general counsel of MID in 2001.
