A repeat violator roofing firm in Florida has been cited by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration for putting its workers at risk of falling off a roof by making them work without fall protection.
OSHA has proposed penalties of $77,000 for St. Augustine-based Bobby Campbell Roofing Inc. largely for the willful violation of not ensuring that the roofers installing shingles on a home in St. Augustine had their personal fall arrest gear fastened to roof anchor points last December. The company had been cited for the same thing on five other occasions since 2013.
