Eliot Spitzer's rival in the gubernatorial primary told Democrats last week that the New York attorney general is beholden to attorneys who are the reason behind increases in workers' compensation costs.
Nassau County Executive Thomas Suozzi said that Spitzer is incapable of addressing a major complaint that workers' compensation has become a burden to businesses in New York, Newsday reported Friday.
Suozzi made his remarks in Nassau to about 150 people gathered for a Queens Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
