Oregon’s Workers’ Compensation Board scheduled a hearing for Feb. 1 on proposed rules for translating documents into English before they can be submitted as evidence.
The proposed rules would mandate that all documents submitted during hearings be in English. Documents in any other language could be submitted if the parties stipulate to the English translation, or the party offering the document includes a translation.
