Bill to Increase Radiology Rates Clears Committee

A bill that would increase maximum fees for radiology services has cleared its first committee in the Connecticut state Senate. The House Labor and Public Employees Committee approved Senate Bill 376 13-0 on March 9, and sent it to the Office of Legislative Research and Office of Fiscal Analysis. The measure would increase maximum fees for Current Procedural Terminology codes 72131, 72141, 72146, 72148, 72158, 73218, 73221, 73222, 73718 and 73721, by 15%. Sen.
