Gov. Authorizes Electronic Transmission of Policy Notices

Workers’ compensation carriers in California will be allowed to provide certain notifications to policyholders by email beginning Jan. 1, 2014, under a bill signed by Gov. Jerry Brown on Thursday.Brown signed Senate Bill 251, by Sen. Ronald S.
