Michael D. Drobot could lose the Southern California home and warehouse he sought to keep by using money that was supposed to satisfy a forfeiture order to make overdue mortgage payments.
Federal prosecutors on Friday filed a motion asking for permission to seize a house Drobot owns in Newport Beach, as well as a warehouse in Perris, to satisfy the $5 million balance on a $10 million forfeiture order.
