The Florida Senate unanimously passed a bill that would allow first responders to use a preemployment physical examination from a former employer to invoke the presumption that certain heart and lung diseases arose from employment.
The Senate on Thursday voted 38-0 to pass SB 330, which would also revise the definition of "heart disease" for the purposes of the presumption.
