The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has introduced new software to track the activities of emergency response and recovery workers following a natural disaster or other public health emergency.
Called ERHMS Info Manager, the software is the latest piece in NIOSH’s Emergency Responder Health Monitoring and Surveillance framework. The goal is to protect emergency workers from the hazardous conditions created by natural or human-caused disasters.
