Judge Can't Change Finding on Worker's Compensable Injuries on Remand

The Alabama Court of Civil Appeals ruled that a trial judge could not issue an award to an injured worker finding that she had a complete loss of earning power as the result of multiple physical injuries and her psyche condition. The case was City of Gadsen v. Billingsley, No. 2170873. Lillie Billingsley had suffered injuries in an on-the-job car accident in 2008 while working for the City of Gadsden.
