Injured Truck Driver Can't Pursue Civil Suit Against Subcontractor

The Missouri Supreme Court ruled that a dump truck driver’s civil suit against an excavation subcontractor and its employee was barred by the exclusive remedy provision of the workers’ compensation law. Joshua McArthur suffered injuries in September 2016 while operating a dump truck for R&B Trucking at the Cerner Trails Campus construction project.
