The mistrial of a Modesto chiropractor on insurance fraud charges last week clears the way for the chain of clinics at the center of the case to pursue more than $1 million in lien claims at the Stockton Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, attorneys said Monday.Daniel Horowitz, defense attorney for accused chiropractor Wilmer Origel, said his client's medical and chiropractic practice put the liens on hold after the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office filed fraud charges.
