Lodging Reimbursement Rates Increased 9% on Average

The Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services announced an average 9% increase in the maximum lodging reimbursement effective Oct. 1 for trips to counties that exceed the standard rate. Workers’ compensation carriers must reimburse injured workers for traveling to claims-related services such as medical appointments in accepted cases, and for independent medical evaluations regardless of whether the claim is accepted or denied.
