California workers' compensation attorneys and legal specialists have an opportunity to earn six Mandatory Continuing Legal Education credits at the Bar Section Education Institute Jan. 19-21 in Berkeley.
The Friday-through-Sunday event will be held at the Claremont Resort and Spa. The Workers' Copmpensation Section is presenting three entry-level survey courses:
* The New Workers' Compensation Law, Part 1, Jan. 19 from 9:45 to 11:45 a.m. The session will address the parties' rights and liabilities involving workplace injuries and the legal requirements for obtaining benefits.
