Judge Upholds Charges in AIG/General Reinsurance Case

A federal judge in Hartford, Conn., refused to dismiss fraud charges facing former executives of American International Group (AIG) and General Reinsurance Corp. alleging they conspired to make it appear AIG had increased its loss reserves by $500 million during the last quarter of 2000 and the first quarter of 2001.
