Eight WV Employers Default on Work Comp Accounts

The West Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission recently filed injunctions against eight state employers whose accounts with the Commission are in default. Injunctions were filed in Kanawha County Circuit Court against the following: - CBS, Inc., a Kanawha County carpet sales and shipping company, owes back premiums, interest and penalties totaling $12,375.41; - Tony Pacifico Stone Quarry, Inc., a Kanawha County stone quarrying business, owes back premiums, interest and penalties totaling $22,864.19; - City of Piedmont, a Mineral County municipality, owes back premiums, interest an...
