Justices Put Another Apportionment Case on Hold

The California Supreme Court this week accepted a fourth apportionment case, but placed it on the back burner until the justices resolve Welcher and Brodie. The high court on Wednesday granted Sonoma County's writ for review of an apportionment award that the 1st District Court of Appeal refused on appeal. The worker's compensation judge had selected the Dykes formula that monetarily favors the applicant, according to defense attorney Dana Miller for the county. In Sonoma County v.
