KS Legislator Resigns for Asst Ins Comm Job

Kansas representative, Bob Tomlinson (R, Roeland Park) is resigning his seat in the state Legislature to accept the post of Assistant Commissioner of Insurance. He will work under the newly elected Insurance Commissioner, Sandy Praeger, in January when she assumes her post. Praeger was elected to head the State's Insurance Department following a successful bid for governor by prior Commissioner Kathleen Sebelius.
