UICI Q2 Results Impacted by WC Losses

UICI (NYSE: UCI) yesterday reported that its second quarter 2003 results of operations will include a charge in the amount of $(0.06) per diluted share associated with the final resolution of litigation arising out of its former workers compensation business. The charge will be reflected in the results of the Company's Life Division business segment.
