Oklahoma state lawmakers on Tuesday continued their partisan theatrics over workers' compensation reform, with Democrats once again refusing to recognize Republican Gov. Mary Fallin's authority to preside over the Senate to force a vote on a measure backed by the state's Republican governor.
In the past week leaders of each party have posted dueling press releases on the Senate's Web site, but Democrats were mute after the floor battle on Tuesday. Republicans issued a press release charging that the majority Democrats were pandering to trial lawyers.
