Investigators with the Contractors State License Board set up a two-day sting last week in Shasta County and caught nearly a dozen people posing as licensed contractors.
The CSLB's Statewide Investigative Fraud Team (SWIFT) issued 11 citations and identified a 12th man who is a possible repeat violator. The sting and sweep were set up to address complaints about unlicensed operators in the area.
