The California Senate Labor and Industrial Relations Committee has scheduled a hearing for
Tuesday, December 7th, to take testimony for the purpose of reviewing the proposed regulations
for workers' compensation permanent disability ratings.
Set by Chairman Senator Richard Alarcon (D-LA) to take place during the final two days before
the holiday recess, Alarcon's office told WorkCompCentral that the hearing is because there is a
concern the regulations do not accurately interpret SB 899.
