New York state Sen. Joseph Bruno, R-Brunswick, vowed to make workers' compensation reform one of his top priorities in the coming legislative session, the Albany Business Review reported last week.
As Senate majority leader, Bruno will play a key role as Gov. George Pataki pushes for a final workers' compensation reform package before he is termed out of office. But Bruno was vague on details of how to fix the system during a Dec. 29 year-end meeting with reporters, the Business Review said.
