The Workers' Compensation Law Section of the California State Bar on Wednesday released the names of its Executive Committee officers for 2006-07.
Richard D. Owen was named chairman. Owen received his Bachelor of Science degree from University of California, Berkeley, and his juris doctorate from from the University of California, Davis. He has specialized in workers' compensation law since 1985.
Owen is a supervising attorney with State Compensation Insurance Fund in its Glendale legal office. He has been a California State Bar Certified Specialist in workers' compensation law since 1992.
