Chairman Joe Edwards of the Workers' Compensation Action Network (WCAN) is the featured speaker at a Tuesday luncheon hosted by the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce.
Edwards' presentation, "California's Workers' Comp -- Staying the Course," will focus on recent system reforms and California's current political landscape, the chamber said.
"Employers play an important role in defending reform and there is a critical need for them to stay involved," Edwards said.
The luncheon program is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Select in Bakersfield.
