VOSHA Plans New Chromium Standard

The Vermont Occupational Safety and Health Administration (VOSHA) announced it will adopt a rule on exposure to hexavalent chromium that is "identical or at least as effective as the federal rule" adopted by the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration in February. VOSHA reported it has begun the adoption process and would publish notice in newspapers throughout Vermont to describe the rule, its economic impact, who to contact for more information and the date, time and location of the public hearing.
