A 50% vocational disability award is not excessive for an employee who suffers from carpal tunnel syndrome and received no vocational training, a Tennessee appellate court ruled.
The Special Workers' Compensation Appeals Panel in Knoxville ruled that in Fisher v. Plus Mark, Inc., no. E2005-00992-WC-R3-CV (06/22/06), that Cynthia Fisher, 51 at the time of her claim, was entitled to a 50% disability award.
