The Virginia State Corporation Commission's Bureau of Insurance warned Tuesday that the Social Security numbers of all of the state's insurance agents may have been accessible on the bureau's Web site for six weeks between mid-June through July.
"The SSN was not shown on any Web page," the agency warned in a news release. "But a savvy computer user could have found it using the source code tool of a Web browser."
